Cobalt Digital to showcase ST 2110/IPMX ecosystem at NAB Show New York

Cobalt Digital will demonstrate its ST 2110/IPMX ecosystem and signal processing solutions at the NAB Show New York, held at the Javits Center on October 21–22, 2026. The company aims to show broadcasters how to transition from SDI to IP at their own pace by supporting hybrid environments.

A key highlight is the expansion of IPMX capabilities with support for JPEG XS Temporal Differential Coding (JXS TDC). This allows for the plug-and-play discovery and transport of visually lossless, ultra-low-latency JPEG XS media streams across various products, including SAPPHIRE mini converters, INDIGO gateways, PACIFIC encoders and decoders, TOPAZ processing platforms, ARIA audio monitors, and UltraBlue multiviewers.

To assist with the C-band spectrum transition, Cobalt has introduced hybrid satellite/internet operations for its PACIFIC compression line. This system complies with VSF TR-06-4 Part 7, utilizing Ku- and Ka-band satellite for bulk distribution while using internet connectivity for lost packet recovery. Additionally, the PACIFIC ULL-DEC with SAT-DEMOD features a factory-installed DVB-S/S2 demodulator to provide simultaneous ASI and IP output from satellite signals.

Other featured technologies include the blueCORE standalone signal processing platform, which handles conversion, color correction, and HDR processing in a 1RU form factor, and the UltraBlue MV-SW multiviewer, which supports compressed streams, SDI, ST 2110, and IPMX.
