Cobourg Kodiaks and Brooklin Merchants Secure Lopsided Wins in Ontario Lacrosse

The Cobourg Kodiaks dominated the Owen Sound NorthStars 18-6 in a Major Series Lacrosse matchup at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Arena. Alex Marinier delivered an exceptional performance, scoring ten goals and adding assists as the Kodiaks surged after the first period.

In a separate Ontario Series Lacrosse contest at the Iroquois Park Sports Centre, the Brooklin Merchants defeated the Hamilton Bengals 14-6. The Merchants took control with a five‑goal run in the second period and spread the scoring across multiple players, while their goalie Thomas Kiazyk made key saves.

Both games highlighted the offensive firepower of the winning teams and reinforced their positions near the top of their respective league standings.
