Cobreloa and Unión San Felipe name new signings in Chile’s Primera B

Juan Ignacio Duma, a 32‑year‑old striker who has played for several Chilean clubs, has joined Cobreloa ahead of the second‑division championship run. He told journalist Mauricio Isaac, “Estoy muy feliz de poder llegar a uno de los equipos más grandes del país… estamos con muchas ilusiones, con muchas ganas, muy motivados.” The club hopes his experience will help maintain a top‑table position and push for promotion.

Unión San Felipe announced the return of veteran defender Cristian Suárez, a former Chile U‑20 World Cup third‑place player. At 39, Suárez brings a lengthy résumé that includes stints at Corinthians, O’Higgins and Cobreloa, as well as a Copa Chile title. The club highlighted his experience as a boost for the team’s second‑half campaign in the Primera B.
