Cobreloa secures home stadium for remainder of 2026 season

Cobreloa has officially secured the use of the Estadio Municipal Zorros del Desierto as its home venue for the remainder of the 2026 season. The club's board confirmed that successful negotiations with regional and local authorities, including the presidential delegates of Antofagasta and El Loa, as well as the Mayor of Calama, have resolved previous uncertainties regarding the stadium's availability.

On the pitch, defender David Tapia expressed the team's readiness for their upcoming away match against Club de Deportes Copiapó. Following a victory against Temuco, Tapia noted that the squad is focused on maintaining high pressure and tactical discipline.
