Cobreloa to debut new copper-inspired jersey against Unión Española

Cobreloa will officially debut its new Copper Edition Pro jersey this Saturday during its match against Unión Española in the Primera B championship. Designed by Siker, the kit is inspired by the mining identity of Calama and the Antofagasta Region.

The graphic design incorporates textures and tones representing copper in various stages, from its natural stone state to its molten, transformed form. This visual evolution aims to connect the club's identity with the historical productive processes of the region.

In addition to its aesthetic, the jersey emphasizes sustainability. According to Siker, the manufacturing process utilizes recycled PET plastic. Each individual jersey represents the recovery of approximately 8.8 plastic bottles from the ocean and prevents nearly half a kilogram of CO2 emissions compared to producing new plastic.
