Coburg police report apartment fire and vehicle incidents

In Coburg, a fire broke out in an apartment building in the Wüstenahorn district after a 30-year-old resident left a pot of water and eggs on a hot stove. The water evaporated, causing the eggs to burn and fill the apartment with smoke. Firefighters had to force entry into the locked apartment, but no injuries were reported, and other residents evacuated safely.

Additionally, police in Coburg are investigating a hit-and-run incident that occurred between August 2 and August 6, resulting in approximately 2,000 euros in damage to a parked Seat Leon. Authorities are also looking into a case of property damage involving a Tesla Model Y, where an advertisement flyer was attached to a windshield using adhesive.
