Coca-Cola announces new product lineup and prebiotic experiments

Coca-Cola is preparing an extensive rollout of new beverage products scheduled through 2027. The expansion covers multiple categories, including soda, sports drinks, sparkling water, vitamin drinks, and protein shakes, as the company seeks to address shifting consumer preferences for hydration, protein, and functional benefits.

The flagship Coca-Cola brand will introduce two new flavors: Coca-Cola Cherry Lime in February 2027 and Coca-Cola Strawberry Float in summer 2027. Both will be available in regular and Zero Sugar versions.

Additionally, the company is launching a limited pilot program in late October 2026 in parts of New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. This experiment involves prebiotic versions of Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, Sprite Zero Sugar, and Fresca, each containing six grams of prebiotic fiber and zero sugar.
