Coca-Cola announces R$ 30 billion investment plan for Brazil

Coca-Cola is implementing significant strategic shifts and financial expansions. In Brazil, which serves as the company’s fourth-largest market globally, President Luciana Batista announced a R$ 30 billion investment plan through 2030. This capital is intended for production capacity expansion, new factories, distribution centers, fleet upgrades, and sustainability initiatives.

On a global financial level, the company reported strong second-quarter results for 2026, with earnings per share of $0.97, exceeding the $0.93 expectation. Revenue rose 6.7% year-over-year to $13.38 billion. Management has raised its 2026 projections, targeting approximately 5% organic revenue growth and 9% to 10% growth in earnings per share. Additionally, the company increased its annual dividend to $2.12, marking 63 consecutive years of dividend increases.

Despite these successes, some analysts debate the company’s valuation, noting high multiples relative to projected organic growth and volume growth that has recently averaged 2%, below the company’s 4% to 6% target.
