Coca‑Cola HBC posts strong first‑half 2026 results and raises outlook
Coca‑Cola HBC AG reported a robust first‑half 2026 performance. Net sales rose 9.6% on an organic basis, driven by a 7.5% increase in volume, with carbonated soft drinks up 6.4% and energy drinks up 26.1%. Comparable EBIT reached €760.1 million, a 15.2% organic rise, and the EBIT margin improved to 12.2%. Net profit climbed 11.4% to €524.4 million. The company lifted its 2026 guidance, now expecting comparable EBIT growth of 8‑10% and organic revenue growth near the top of its 6‑7% range.
Capital spending accelerated to €378.9 million, mainly for new production lines in Nigeria and Egypt. Coca‑Cola HBC also announced the issuance of €2.1 billion of bonds to fund the acquisition of a 75 % stake in Coca‑Cola Beverages Africa, expanding its footprint from 29 to 40 African markets. The management highlighted continued strength in fast‑growing categories such as zero‑sugar, energy and sports drinks, and noted a positive impact from the FIFA World Cup on consumption. The upgraded outlook reflects confidence in volume‑led growth, ongoing investments and product innovation.
