Coca-Cola HBC completes £230 million share placement

Coca-Cola HBC has completed a share placement of approximately 5.1 million shares through an accelerated bookbuild process. The transaction, valued at roughly £230 million (approximately $313 million), saw demand that exceeded the offering multiple times. The placement was executed at a price of £43.30 per share, representing a discount of about 4.1% compared to the previous closing price of £45.16.

Following the placement, the company's stock faced downward pressure on the Athens Stock Exchange. Despite the share price decline, Coca-Cola HBC recently reported strong results for the first half of 2026, driven by increased sales volumes. This performance led management to upgrade its full-year organic operating profit growth forecast to a range of 8% to 10%. CEO Zoran Bogdanovic noted that the second quarter met company expectations, providing the confidence necessary for the upward revision.
