Coca-Cola HBC reduces CO2 emissions by 23% in Poland and Baltics
Coca-Cola HBC has reported its 2025 sustainability results for the Poland and Baltic regions, highlighting a 23% reduction in CO2 emissions across its value chain since 2019, despite a 12% increase in production volume.
Key environmental achievements include using 100% renewable electricity for purchased energy and maintaining a vehicle fleet that is over 93% low-emission. The company has also implemented energy-saving cooling equipment in 77% of its retail locations, saving an estimated 179 million kWh of electricity since 2019.
In terms of packaging, 41% of all PET packaging used in the region was made from recycled plastic. Additionally, the company has improved water efficiency, using 11% less water per liter of beverage produced compared to a decade ago, supported by a €1.4 million investment in water efficiency solutions since 2023.
