Coca-Cola Hong Kong launches recycling education initiative

Coca-Cola Hong Kong, through The Coca-Cola Company and bottling partner Swire Coca-Cola HK, has launched the ‘Coca-Cola Recycling Academy’. This new educational initiative aims to make the local recycling process in Hong Kong more visible and accessible to the public.

The program includes a gamified learning platform specifically designed for secondary school students to connect classroom learning with community engagement. The launch follows a consumer survey conducted by Coca-Cola Hong Kong, which revealed that over 80% of respondents would be more willing to recycle plastic beverage bottles if they knew Hong Kong possessed the local facilities to process them into recycled materials.
