Coca-Cola Romania appoints Amruta Vaidya as new General Manager

Coca-Cola Romania has announced a restructuring of its leadership team and the creation of new organizational roles. The changes aim to integrate commercial, marketing, and communications teams to facilitate faster decision-making and closer alignment with local market realities.

Amruta Vaidya has been appointed as the new General Manager of Coca-Cola Romania, succeeding Mark Docherty. Vaidya, who joined the company in 2017, brings over 20 years of experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry, having previously held leadership roles in Norway, Iceland, Australia, Singapore, and Malaysia. Most recently, she served as the General Manager of Coca-Cola Ireland.

Mark Docherty will transition to a regional role based at the company’s European headquarters in Dublin, Ireland, where he will oversee several European markets. Vaidya will lead the company’s next development phase in Romania in collaboration with system partner Coca-Cola HBC Romania.
