Coca, Spain hosts Festival of Pianos in the Street night event
The town of Coca in Segovia province held the eighth edition of the Festival of Pianos in the Street, presented as a “Noche en Blanco y Negro” organized by the Diputación de Segovia and the Ayuntamiento de Coca. Hundreds of visitors toured historic sites such as the Explanada del Castillo, the Torre de San Nicolás and the Paseo de las Olmas while three pianos played continuously on a rotating schedule.
The evening featured a candle‑lit lighting of the three pianos, a collaboration with The Olphactory, and performances by a variety of artists, including soprano María Eugenia Barcia with pianist Alicia Maroto, pianist Pedro Ojesto with trumpeter Antonio García, and a tribute to Chavela Vargas by pianist Benjamín R. Mitte and singer Amparo Malo, among others.
