Cocaine seized on Bolivian route, driver arrested for use in Chile

Bolivian police intercepted two shipments of cocaine concealed in yogurt containers on the Cochabamba‑Oruro road on June 9‑10. The operation uncovered four and five yogurt packs respectively, each hiding capsules wrapped in transparent film. A woman linked to the first shipment was arrested and placed in preventive detention while investigators work to identify the trafficking network.

In Temuco, Chile, a 53‑year‑old microbus driver tested positive for cocaine during a coordinated vehicle inspection by municipal authorities and the national police. The driver was detained on the spot and will face charges for operating a public transport vehicle under the influence of an illegal substance.
