Cocaine traces found at ONS energy fair in Stavanger

Cocaine traces were discovered on approximately 21 percent of 53 tested toilets during the ONS energy fair in Stavanger. Testing conducted by Stavanger Aftenblad showed that the presence of the drug increased from 6 percent on Monday to 21 percent by Wednesday afternoon.

To ensure accuracy, the samples were analyzed in collaboration with Stavanger University Hospital and the University of Stavanger. Analytical chemist Cato Brede confirmed that the results showed clear evidence of cocaine.

Organizers of the ONS fair, which hosted over 69,000 participants from 92 countries, stated they take the findings seriously and intend to seek advice from the police. Communication manager Line Grønhaug noted that the findings are contrary to Norwegian law and the values of the event.
