Cocal do Sul blood drive collects 75 units

A blood donation mobilization in Cocal do Sul, conducted in partnership with the Hematology and Hemotherapy Center of Santa Catarina (Hemosc), successfully collected 75 units of blood. The initiative brought collection infrastructure directly to the municipality, involving various community sectors including local businesses, athletes, and gyms.

Out of 90 candidates who presented for donation, 75 were deemed eligible. Some individuals were unable to donate during the screening process due to temporary health conditions, such as respiratory infections. Local health officials noted the high level of community engagement and the success of the effort in facilitating access for residents.
