Cochabamba dairy producers partner with INE for 2026 census

In Cochabamba, Bolivia, the National Institute of Statistics (INE) has signed a cooperation agreement with Productores de Leche Cochabamba (PROLEC S.A.) to prepare for the 2026 Agricultural Census. The agreement aims to increase participation and coordination between the INE and various dairy organizations, including the Association of Milk Producers of the Cochabamba Valley (APL) and the Association of Holstein Cattle Breeders of Bolivia (ACRHOBOL).

Under this partnership, PROLEC will assist in disseminating official census information, supporting territorial coordination for agricultural production units, and helping with the recruitment of census personnel. The initiative is designed to facilitate direct engagement with producers in a sector that holds significant economic importance for the department.
