Cochin International Airport reports record Rs 502 crore profit

Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) achieved a record net profit of Rs 502 crore during the 2025-26 financial year, marking the first time the company has exceeded the Rs 500-crore threshold. The airport reported a total revenue of Rs 1,220 crore for the period.

In response to the financial performance, the CIAL Board has recommended a 55% dividend to shareholders. The airport's operations included 73,134 aircraft movements and the handling of approximately 1.14 crore passengers. Kerala Chief Minister V D Satheesan noted that the airport has maintained passenger volumes above the one-crore mark for four consecutive years, despite challenges within the aviation sector.

Beyond its operational successes, CIAL plans to expand into the airport consultancy sector. The company intends to offer its expertise in master planning, runways, cargo, and ground handling to other airports across India.
