Cocif Collection exhibition opens at Castello Malatestiano

The exhibition ‘L’Arte celata. La Collezione Cocif’ has opened at the Castello Malatestiano in Longiano, hosted within the ex Chiesa della Madonna di Loreto. Organized by the Fondazione Tito Balestra, the event drew approximately 250 attendees from across the Emilia-Romagna region.

The showcase features the complete Cocif Collection, which has remained unexposed to the public for over thirty years at the Cocif historical headquarters. The exhibition includes 20 works by prominent 20th-century artists, such as Giorgio de Chirico, Carlo Carrà, Felice Casorati, Antonio Ligabue, Gino Severini, Massimo Campigli, Renato Guttuso, and Maurice Utrillo. The collection also includes various works from earlier eras selected based on the collector's personal taste.

During the inauguration, local officials and foundation leaders discussed the intersection of culture, industry, territory, and labor. Speakers included Flaminio Balestra, Francesca Lucchi, Mauro Graziano, Ivan Cecchini, and Luigi Marconi, with the exhibition curated by Claudio Spadoni.
