Coco Jones and Donovan Mitchell marry in private ceremony

Singer Coco Jones and NBA star Donovan Mitchell officially married on August 1, 2026, in an intimate ceremony held in the New York/Connecticut area. The couple, who began dating in 2023 after meeting at Michael Rubin’s Fourth of July White Party, announced their engagement in July 2025.

The wedding featured a guest list including prominent NBA players such as Jaylen Brown, Jalen Brunson, and Bam Adebayo, as well as celebrity couple Ciara and Russell Wilson. The celebration incorporated the couple's diverse backgrounds, with food stations honoring Mitchell’s Panamanian roots and Jones’s Southern heritage. Performances were provided by Blxst and Metro Boomin.

Jones wore a white satin mermaid-style bridal gown featuring a corset and a belt adorned with hundreds of crystals, paired with a waist-length veil with floral appliqués. The wedding wardrobes were designed entirely by Black designers, including a collaboration with Off-White’s creative team.
