Cocoa processing increases in Europe and Asia during Q3 2026

Cocoa grinding saw growth in Europe and Asia during the third quarter of 2026 compared to the same period in 2025. In Europe, total grinding reached 348,215 tonnes, marking a 3.2% increase from the 337,353 tonnes recorded in Q3 2025 and a 10.07% rise from the second quarter of 2026.

In Asia, grinding volumes reached 223,767 tonnes, representing a significant 23.7% increase compared to the 180,913 tonnes processed in Q3 2025. Although this figure reflects a slight quarterly decline from the 224,646 tonnes processed in the second quarter of 2026, the annual growth indicates a substantial expansion of processing activity in the region.
