CoComelon: The Movie trailer unveiled for Feb. 19 theatrical release

DreamWorks Jr. released the first trailer for CoComelon: The Movie, showing JJ and his friends on a quest to rescue his missing stuffed bear, Boba. The animated family film follows JJ’s first day of kindergarten, which leads the group into a magical world ruled by Princess Harmony, played by Grammy‑winning artist SZA. Directed by Kat Good, the movie features a cast that includes Nicholas Hoult, Ike Barinholtz and a supporting lineup of Saturday Night Live and comedy talent.

The film is scheduled to open in theaters on February 19 and will be distributed by Universal Pictures. Production partners include DreamWorks Animation, Moonbug Entertainment, Flywheel Media and Prime Focus Studios, with animation work by the DNEG Group. New original songs for the movie are being created by songwriter Justin Tranter. CoComelon, a YouTube‑originated children’s series with over 200 million subscribers, is making its first big‑screen appearance, expanding its brand beyond streaming platforms.
