Cocomi defends sister Kōki against photo editing allegations

Musician Cocomi has publicly defended her sister, model Kōki, against online allegations that her recent photographs were digitally altered to enhance her physique. The controversy arose following Kōki’s appearance at the Venice Film Festival, where she attended events as an ambassador for the brand Intimissimi.

Cocomi, who acted as the photographer for the images, responded via Instagram Stories to address the skepticism. She attributed their appearance to a combination of genetics, 7cm platform shoes, clothing suited to their bone structure, and specific photography techniques. To further refute the claims, Cocomi shared unedited video footage taken directly from an SD card to demonstrate Kōki’s natural silhouette.

Cocomi expressed frustration with the accusations, describing those who claim the images are edited as “sad people” and stating that attributing Kōki’s physique to photo manipulation is “too rude,” noting that her sister’s appearance is the result of intense fitness training.
