Code of Silence begins filming for second series

Filming has officially begun on the second series of the BAFTA-winning thriller ‘Code of Silence’. The production is a collaboration between ITV, BritBox, and Mammoth Screen.

Rose Ayling-Ellis reprises her lead role as Alison Brooks, a character who has completed forensic lip-reading training. The new series follows a high-stakes surveillance operation involving a money-laundering syndicate and a woman named Ruby Dowling, played by Emily Head. As DI James Marsh and his team investigate a brutal attack, Alison’s expertise in decoding CCTV footage becomes central to the case.

The first series of the show, created by Catherine Moulton, achieved significant international reach with over 20 million streams on ITVX and was broadcast in multiple regions including North America, Europe, and Australia.
