Azimut Yachts begins luxury megayacht construction in Brazil

Azimut Yachts has commenced construction of the first Azimut Grande 30 Metri in Itajaí, Brazil. This project is part of a R$ 120 million investment cycle planned through 2028, which aims to expand the shipyard to 65,000 square meters and increase the workforce from 650 to approximately 800 employees. The 30-meter luxury megayacht, valued at over R$ 90 million, is expected to be delivered in 2028 and utilizes Carbon Tech technology to reduce weight.

In Mexico, Playa Miramar recorded a historic summer season, surpassing 2 million visitors. This represents a 40 percent increase compared to the previous year. Local authorities estimate the economic impact from this surge in tourism to exceed 1 billion pesos, benefiting the hospitality, gastronomy, and service sectors in the southern Tamaulipas region.
