Codemge to present Minas Gerais mobility expertise at Cidade CSC 2026
The Companhia de Desenvolvimento de Minas Gerais (Codemge) will present its experience in planning and structuring urban mobility projects at the Cidade CSC 2026 event in São Paulo. The conference, held from November 16 to 18, focuses on innovation and urban planning in Latin America.
Codemge will highlight its work on projects such as the new Belo Horizonte metro lines. Discussions will center on how continuous planning, concessions, public-private partnerships (PPPs), and new revenue sources can modernize public transport and infrastructure within municipal budgets.
Gabriel Ribeiro Fajardo, Codemge’s Director of Concessions and Partnerships, noted that Minas Gerais has regained its technical planning capacity through a partnership between Codemge and the State Secretariat of Infrastructure, Mobility, and Partnerships (Seinfra-MG). He stated that investment decisions are now based on evidence and data to ensure more efficient results for the population.
