CODHEM and ISSEMYM sign human rights collaboration agreement

The Human Rights Commission of the State of Mexico (CODHEM) and the Social Security Institute of the State of Mexico and Municipalities (ISSEMYM) have signed a General Collaboration Agreement. The partnership focuses on human rights and social security, specifically targeting healthcare personnel.

Under the agreement, medical, nursing, social work, and administrative staff will undergo training, specialization, and competency certification in human rights. The initiative aims to ensure that healthcare services are provided with empathy and respect for the dignity of patients and their families. CODHEM President Víctor Leopoldo Delgado Pérez emphasized that dignity must be practiced in every interaction, from waiting rooms to operating rooms.
