CODIPRA Forum Highlights Agricultural Risk Management and Plant Research in Predaia

On 1 August, CODIPRA organised a mid‑summer forum in Predaia, Italy, in partnership with Agriduemila Hub Innovation, Agririsk and ITAS. The event gathered representatives from agriculture, research, public institutions and technology firms to discuss the challenges posed by climate change, food security, enterprise competitiveness and plant behaviour. Participants stressed that these issues require an integrated approach that combines scientific expertise, data, and innovative technologies.

During the forum, Francesco Pugliese presented the newly founded Nil – Natural Interactive Lab, a platform aimed at developing new scientific paradigms to address environmental, climatic and socio‑economic challenges. Pugliese said, “Le grandi sfide del nostro tempo richiedono una nuova capacità di osservare e comprendere la natura,” emphasizing the foundation’s goal to create an ecosystem that links research, institutions and enterprises for sustainable agriculture.

The forum concluded with a call for collaborative solutions that translate scientific knowledge into concrete innovations for the agricultural sector and the broader territory.
