CODIT selected to operate AI regulatory service for South Korean ICT sandbox
CODIT, an AI-based law, regulation, and policy platform, has been selected as the operator for the ‘ICT Regulatory Sandbox AI-based Regulation Confirmation Service’ by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA).
The service aims to assist startups and new industry companies in quickly identifying applicable regulations through AI, reducing the time and cost associated with regulatory research. Utilizing its conversational AI solution, ‘ChatCODIT,’ the platform allows users to input business models or service details to automatically identify relevant laws, regulatory issues, and competent government agencies.
This initiative serves as a GovTech collaboration model where the government utilizes a market-proven private AI service instead of building a separate system. Applications for the service opened on the 25th.
