CoDMON ICT service expands to 760 Japanese municipalities

The childcare and education ICT service CoDMON has expanded its reach across Japan, with 760 municipalities adopting the platform as of September 1, 2026. The service is increasingly being utilized not only in nurseries but also in after-school children's clubs, covering 7,006 public facilities nationwide.

In Kagoshima Prefecture, Setouchi Town has announced the adoption of CoDMON for its kindergarten starting October 1, 2026. The implementation aims to improve working conditions for staff by automating tasks such as attendance recording, shift scheduling, and parent communications, which were previously handled via telephone or manual paperwork.

The expansion aligns with the Japanese government's push for digital transformation in childcare. The Children and Families Agency has introduced measures like the 'Childcare ICT Promotion Addition' to support the digitalization of childcare facilities and improve operational efficiency.
