Cody Johnson reflects on achieving childhood dream of ranch ownership

Country music artist Cody Johnson recently shared that he has fulfilled a lifelong ambition he first conceived at the age of eight. During an appearance on CBS Mornings, the Texas native explained that his primary goal was never fame, but rather achieving the financial stability to provide a specific lifestyle for his family.

Johnson expressed that his childhood dream involved owning land, building a large home, and raising horses and cattle. He noted that at one point, he felt it might be impossible to achieve both a major music career and the ownership of a cattle ranch, feeling as though there was a limit to what he could attain.

Today, Johnson lives on a Texas ranch with his wife and three children, surrounded by the land and animals he envisioned as a child.
