Cody Rhodes discusses professional advice from Dwayne Johnson

WWE wrestler Cody Rhodes shared insights regarding professional advice he received from Dwayne Johnson. During an interview on “Insight with Chris Van Vliet,” Rhodes explained that Johnson expressed frustration when wrestlers dismiss acting careers, suggesting instead that they frame their transition as a desire to “grow as a storyteller.”

Rhodes noted that he applied this logic during meetings with studio executives in Los Angeles to bridge the gap between professional wrestling and Hollywood. Rhodes has recently expanded his presence in film, including a role in the “Street Fighter” adaptation.

Separately, Dwayne Johnson recently engaged with an aspiring wrestling impersonator, T’Zaih, on Instagram. After the impersonator’s video went viral, Johnson praised the creator’s attention to detail in the comments.
