Cody Rhodes identifies neck tattoo as his greatest regret

Professional wrestler Cody Rhodes has identified his prominent neck tattoo as the greatest regret of his life. The tattoo, which features the ‘American Nightmare’ skull logo, was applied in early 2020 to establish his brand during his time in AEW.

Speaking on the ‘What Do You Wanna Talk About?’ podcast, Rhodes stated that while he believes the artwork and the artist are excellent, he regrets the placement and scale of the piece. He noted that the tattoo significantly changed how he viewed himself in the mirror. Rhodes also remarked that his late father, Dusty Rhodes, would have strongly disapproved of the ink, suggesting his father would have felt he had ‘ruined’ himself.

Despite his regrets, Rhodes expressed that he has no intention of having the tattoo removed and intends to continue using the branding throughout his career.
