Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes said on The Ariel Helwani Show that he envisions retiring within the next five years, a timeframe he would likely honor in a new contract. He described himself as the "face of WWE" but emphasized that the title ultimately belongs to the fans, noting that many other stars such as Roman Reigns, Rhea Ripley and CM Punk could also claim that role.

Rhodes recalled an emotional moment before WrestleMania 40 when his brother Dustin Rhodes asked, “Are you ready?” – a question that reminded him of their late father Dusty Rhodes. He later defeated Roman Reigns to capture the world title at the event.

Beyond wrestling, Rhodes expressed interest in expanding into film and television, citing a planned "Street Fighter" project, and mentioned the possibility of a future stint in Georgia politics. He also reflected on his long‑standing rivalry with Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) and warned against excessive speculation about legacy appearances.

The champion will defend his title at Night of Champions in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, before eventually stepping away from the ring.
