Following a visit to Marvel Studios' Burbank headquarters, Rhodes shared an Instagram story featuring the 'X-Men '97' theme song, prompting fans to theorize about his involvement in the franchise.

While it remains unconfirmed whether Rhodes will appear in the live-action film or provide voiceover work for the animated series, the actor has previous experience in television and film, including roles in 'Arrow' and the 'Street Fighter' reboot. The untitled X-Men film, directed by Jake Schreier, is slated for a May 2028 release and is expected to feature Adam Driver as Mister Sinister.
