WWE NXT schedules special Wednesday episode for Dusty Rhodes Tag Classic finals

WWE NXT Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Cody Rhodes John Cena professional wrestling

WWE has announced a special Wednesday edition of NXT for November 4, 2026, to accommodate U.S. midterm election coverage. This scheduling shift places the broadcast in direct competition with AEW's Blood & Guts special.

The episode will feature the finals of the 2026 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Following the semifinals held on October 27, the final matchup will see Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno face off against Hank and Tank (Hank Walker and Tank Ledger). Cody Rhodes is scheduled to appear to present the tournament trophy to the winners.

In addition to the tournament conclusion, WWE confirmed that John Cena will make a special appearance. This follows his recent return to Monday Night Raw and precedes the upcoming John Cena Classic tournament. The broadcast will also include an unsanctioned match between Dion Lennox and Cruz Montana.
