Cody Walker weighs in on potential AI return of Paul Walker

Cody Walker has addressed speculation regarding whether the late actor Paul Walker will return to the ‘Fast & Furious’ franchise for its final installment, ‘Fast Forever’, using artificial intelligence.

Cody Walker stated that the decision should rest with Paul Walker’s daughter, Meadow Walker. While he noted that AI technology could potentially utilize unused footage from previous films to recreate the character Brian O'Conner, he expressed that he and his brother Caleb would not be interested in serving as physical body doubles as they did for ‘Furious 7’ following Paul Walker's death in 2013.

‘My stance is, it’s what [Meadow] wants to see done; it’s her father,’ Cody Walker said. He added that he was satisfied with how the character was handled in the previous film, noting that the character was not killed off but rather retired to raise a family. ‘Fast Forever’ is scheduled for release on March 17, 2028.
