Dorsten and Recklinghausen to Deploy Speed Cameras July 27‑August 2

The municipal traffic authorities in Dorsten and the surrounding Kreis Recklinghausen announced a series of speed‑camera checks from 27 July to 2 August. Radar vans will patrol Lembecker Straße, Pliesterbecker Straße and Ostland Straße in Dorsten, while additional mobile speed checks may occur across the entire city area. The same period sees intensified dog‑waste inspections by the Kommunale Ordnungsdienst, with fines ranging from €25 for missing waste bags to up to €300 for littering in playgrounds.

Recklinghausen’s city administration also published the scheduled locations for its mobile radar fleet for 27 July‑31 July, listing specific streets for each day (e.g., Arenbergstraße on Monday, Bergknappenstraße on Tuesday, etc.). Both municipalities stress that unannounced controls can also take place, and all fines follow the standard statutory rates.

These coordinated measures aim to improve road safety and enforce local cleanliness regulations throughout the region.
