Coffee and cocoa prices decline on Monday trading

Coffee prices experienced a downturn during Monday trading. In São Paulo, Arabica coffee fell by 1.11%, with 60 kg bags trading at R$ 1,601.95, while Robusta coffee saw a 0.58% decrease to R$ 936.73.

On the New York stock exchange, Arabica coffee prices dropped due to liquidation pressure following mid-October gains. December 2026 delivery contracts fell 3.17% to 2.97 cents per pound. Cocoa also saw a decline, with December 2026 contracts dropping 0.91% to US$ 5,539 per ton.

Other commodities showed mixed results: sugar and cotton prices receded, with sugar contracts for March 2027 falling 3.66% to US$ 19.51 per pound. Conversely, frozen concentrated orange juice prices rose by 2.01%, trading at US$ 1.4230 per pound for January 2027 delivery.
