Coffee brewing methods and equipment overview

The world of coffee encompasses a wide variety of brewing methods and specialized equipment. The Ninja AutoBarista Pro is a fully automatic machine designed for convenience, featuring a touch display with 13 preset coffee classics. It is capable of grinding, dosing, and brewing coffee with a single button press, though it requires significant counter space.

Understanding coffee types often comes down to the ratio of espresso, water, and milk used. Espresso serves as the foundation for most menu items, typically consisting of 25 to 30 milliliters of highly concentrated coffee. An Americano is created by diluting espresso with hot water, usually at a ratio of one part espresso to four parts water. Conversely, a Ristretto uses even less water than a standard espresso, resulting in a more concentrated flavor with potentially less acidity. Other common variations include lattes, cappuccinos, and cortados, which differ primarily in their milk and water proportions.
