Coffee brewing tools gain popularity for ease of use and flavor

New coffee brewing tools are gaining attention for their ability to simplify home preparation and improve flavor consistency.

The Bodum Bistro Coffee Grinder, available at Costco, has become a popular item due to its conical grinder design. It allows users to adjust grind sizes for various methods, including espresso, drip, and French press. The device features a timer that can be set for up to 20 seconds and uses a heat-resistant glass container to minimize static and preserve aroma. Due to high demand, some retailers have implemented purchase limits of five units per member.

Additionally, a new Shigaraki ware coffee teapot named ‘KOGA’ is being introduced to provide a more stable brewing experience through full immersion. Unlike traditional hand-drip methods that rely on pouring technique, this teapot requires only three minutes of steeping. It utilizes the far-infrared properties of Shigaraki clay to regulate temperature and a stainless steel mesh filter to retain coffee oils, resulting in a smoother flavor profile. The product is also suitable for cold brew preparations.
