Coffee consumption linked to mental health benefits and enhanced metabolism with spice additives
Research published in the Journal of Affective Disorders finds that drinking two to three cups of coffee daily is associated with a lower risk of developing mental disorders, especially among men. However, consuming five or more cups per day may increase mental‑health risks. The study tracked more than 460,000 adults aged 40 to 69 over 13 years.
Separate advice from nutrition experts suggests adding cinnamon, cardamom and coconut oil to coffee to stabilize energy levels, improve digestion and increase feelings of fullness. A quarter‑teaspoon of each ingredient mixed into freshly brewed coffee is recommended to achieve these effects.
