Coffee convenience products gain popularity in home markets

Various coffee preparation methods and products are gaining attention for their convenience and cost-effectiveness in home settings.

Starbucks has introduced ‘Coffee Craft’ in Japan, a concentrated coffee beverage released by Nestlé. The product allows users to make approximately eight servings from a 260ml bottle by mixing it with water or milk, eliminating the need for boiling water or specialized equipment. While the cost per serving of approximately 54 yen is higher than instant coffee, it offers a more convenient way to prepare iced lattes and coffee with adjustable strength.

In another market trend, the Nestlé Dolce Gusto Genio S Plus capsule coffee maker is seeing high popularity at retailers like Costco. The machine features an ‘espresso boost mode’ to enhance aroma and flavor. Consumers have praised the system for its ease of use, cleanliness, and ability to produce cafe-quality drinks quickly, making it a preferred option for both home and office environments.
