Coffee industry events announced in Mexico and Colombia

Regional coffee industry events are being organized in Mexico and Colombia to promote local production and trade. In Mexico, the municipality of Ixhuatlán Del Café is participating in the Second Regional Roasted Coffee Competition of Southeast Mexico. The event is scheduled for September 29 in Córdoba, Veracruz, and aims to add value to the local coffee production chain by involving producers and entrepreneurs from various municipalities in the Altas Montañas region.

In Colombia, the Cafés de Colombia Expo 2026 is set to take place in Bogotá from October 15 to 18. Organized by Café de Colombia and Corferias, the exhibition expects over 40,600 visitors and 180 exhibitors. The event will feature the IX National Filter Coffee Championship and the IV National Roasters Championship, focusing on global consumption trends, business networking, and the diverse ways coffee is experienced across different territories.
