COFOPRI launches national property titling campaign in Peru

The Organismo de Formalización de la Propiedad Informal (COFOPRI) is launching a national campaign throughout September to provide property titles to more than 10,000 families across various regions of Peru.

The initiative includes new interventions in previously unreached areas and follow-up visits to sectors where documentation was incomplete or residents were absent. The campaign begins on September 1 in La Libertad, specifically targeting the Alto Trujillo settlement to register 714 families.

Other regions scheduled for new registration efforts include Amazonas, Áncash, Ayacucho, Cajamarca, Cusco, Huánuco, Junín, Lambayeque, Loreto, and Tacna. Additionally, the campaign will return to several regions to finalize pending processes for families in Arequipa, Puno, Apurímac, Lima, Tumbes, Ucayali, and Huancavelica.
