Cofradía truck looted during fuel price protests

Protests regarding a fuel price crisis in Cofradía, Cortés, have escalated into looting incidents on the CA-4 international highway. During transport sector mobilizations, a commercial distribution truck became stranded due to barricades and burning tires.

Witnesses and drivers captured footage of individuals surrounding the vehicle and removing merchandise intended for commercial establishments. In response to the unrest, the National Police have increased their presence and security operations in the Cofradía sector. Authorities are currently reviewing audiovisual material to identify those involved in the looting and pursue legal action.
