Cognizant launches EMEA AI Unit to scale enterprise AI across Europe, Middle East and Africa

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation announced the creation of an EMEA AI Unit, a dedicated organization aimed at helping enterprises in Europe, the Middle East and Africa move from AI pilots to scalable, agentic solutions. The unit integrates advisory, engineering and delivery capabilities and is centered on Cognizant’s Frontier Deployed Engineering offering, which provides three service models—Foundation, Accelerate and Transform—to support AI strategy, governance, production deployment and end‑to‑end workflow reinvention.

The unit is already working with a leading European online fashion retailer, using an AI‑factory model to compress development cycles from months to days across supply‑chain, inventory and customer‑experience functions. It is also collaborating with a global pharmaceutical leader to reimagine R&D operations through multi‑agent systems covering drug discovery, clinical‑trial design and regulatory preparation. By remaining platform‑agnostic, the unit helps clients choose and scale the solutions that fit their unique operating needs.
