Cognizant to acquire DyFlex Solutions to boost AI and SAP capabilities

Cognizant has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire DyFlex Solutions, an AI-led SAP transformation firm headquartered in Australia. The acquisition is intended to strengthen Cognizant’s enterprise platform, AI, and SAP capabilities within the Australia and New Zealand markets.

DyFlex Solutions, an SAP Platinum Partner, specializes in advisory, implementation, and managed services across various sectors, including mining, energy, manufacturing, and the public sector. The firm employs over 300 people and focuses on AI-led process advisory across finance, digital supply chain, and data analytics.

In a separate development, Suntory Oceania is investing in Databricks and Copilot Pro as part of its AI strategy. The beverage company has moved approximately 90 percent of its datasets onto Databricks over the last two years to create a centralized data foundation. Digital and IT director Matt Dixon noted that the company is also exploring agentic options within its SAP core to automate processes such as demand sensing and stock transfer orders.
