Cohere to acquire AI cybersecurity startup Aisle

Toronto-based AI company Cohere has signed a letter of intent to acquire Aisle, a cybersecurity startup specializing in using artificial intelligence to detect software vulnerabilities.

Through this acquisition, Cohere plans to establish a new cybersecurity division named ‘Cohere Cyber’. Aisle’s headquarters in Prague will serve as Cohere’s new European office, and its approximately 50 full-time employees will transition to the Canadian firm.

Key leadership changes include Aisle CEO Ondřej Vlček joining Cohere as senior vice-president of the new cybersecurity unit, co-founder Jaya Baloo becoming global chief information security officer, and co-founder Stanislav Fort serving as vice-president of AI security.
